Project: Transitioning to low-carbon travel and increase uptake of public transport facilities in the East Midlands, UK

Student Consultant - Nottingham Consultancy Challenge, University of Nottingham - Internship*

  • Delivered consultancy to Midlands Connect, an SME based in Birmingham as part of the Nottingham Consultancy Challenge.

  • Worked as part of a small, multidisciplinary team of 5 for over 6 weeks. Suggested behavioral insights to the client to propose a strategy for transitioning to low-carbon travel and improving information-sharing strategies (Self).

  • Undertook research and case studies on the transport behavior of people in the East Midlands region in the UK (Self)

  • Suggested behavioral interventions, incentives and gamification strategies to increase the use of public transport in the East Midlands and submitted a fully referenced report to the client (Group).
